You are a bitter old man whose not even a Spurs fan but is obsessed with trolling Spur fans despite your ty Cavs not ever having a rivalry with the Spurs. I can understand why Laker fans troll here 24/7 due to the intense rivalry from the Duncan/Kobe era but your trolling is just strange from a motive perspective. To me you are just a deranged angry person.

I would love to see the Spurs win but I'm realistic to know with this crappy roster they are not going to win many games this year. I can't be an unrealistic stupid person and expect the Spurs to be great this year and that's why I said they could lose 50 in a row and it won't matter. I can live with it. I lived through the horrible '97 season. To get angry and depressed after every spurs loss is just stupid and re ed. It's obvious you are upset the losing is not getting to me.
Personally, I don't think you're over the age of 15. but do carry on. Btw, that '97 was a great season. It netted the Spurs the #1 pick in the draft but that's what being bad buys you. This year, you'll get an upclose and personal look at what mediocrity buys. It's not nearly as shiny or pretty, not quite as fundamental and will probably take two, three or six years to develop meaning many more years of mediocrity. The Spurs are in NBA pergatory, not good enough to contend and not bad enough to bottom out. And unlike Zion who looks like a slamdunk superstar in the making, the rest of the draft is a crapshhoot..

You need two things to be a contender... Assets in order to make trades and building blocks in order to attract free agents. The Spurs have neither and the Spurs won't be picking #1 this upcoming offseason either. Pop officially took caree of that this summer.

Proving what I said in my original post that you are just a bitter old man who is bent on seeing Spur fans suffer. I'm in my 30's right now so yes I remember the '97 season very well. I got to see my team win 5 les in my lifetime while you who is close to 100 now only got to see the Cavs win 1 in your lifetime. Trust me I'm set for life regardless of what happens this point forward with the Spurs.

I know what mediocrity looks like since I'm NC native and also follow the Hornets. I have seen the Hornets miss out on Davis when they tried to tank for him and blow a bunch of lottery picks over 10 plus years. Spurs could easily go the same path the Hornets have gone. Nothing is guaranteed but like I said before I got to see my team win while I was young unlike you who got to see the Cavs win at the near age of 100. Has to suck to go through nearly a century of tortured fandom.

    Kawhi choked in crunch time

Having said that, it could be worse. He could’ve been on the Spurs

I think Kyrie had the better of him down the stretch with Celts beating Raps in OT tonight. Yup Kawhi had a great game stat, but down the stretch Kawhi’s demeanor was not as aggressive as Kyrie who stepped up a notch even more to close the game, while Kawhi was just okay, missing shots, and just walked off the last few seconds of the national televised game resigned. While the rest congratulate each other. I just find it sad. The guy’s weird and I’m sure alone and miserable. It’s not like when Timmy or Manu would corral everybody before, pat in the back, nice game. Hmmm.

So how are you approaching the season? Are the Spurs still your number one team? Do you follow the Raptors? Are you now going for Kawhi since he is on your home team?

Its funny how in a couple of days raptors sub already have a better read of what Kawhi is than us. We had to be eliminated by Clippers and OKC twice in a row to realize he's an awful pick n roll player, creator etc.

    I got this from reddit

"Because they give Kawhi the ball in the 4th and he’s a terrible playmaker. All you can expect from them is Kawhi iso in the 4th, that’s not good enough."

The 4th quarter "coaching" in that game reminded me of some Spurs games.

Spurs will always and forever be my #1 team (despite me being a whiny about them all the time). I’ve always had a soft spot for the Raptors since I live in Toronto but Kawhi. It sucks because I want the Raptors to do well but I can’t bring myself to root for Kawhi. It’s been very bizarre. It’s like your wife leaving you for your best friend and then they both decide to move in with you. Still not used to seeing him in another jersey. I just hope he s off to the Clippers so I can root for the Raps as my second team “normally” instead of thisnweird conflicted situation that we have now

Still miss Danny Green, nice to see him do well here.

Yes that's a tough spot. I always liked the Raptors because of their enthusiastic fan base with thousands of fans outside watching the games from giant screens during the playoffs. Kahwi brings out he worst in me too and I truly can't stand to watch him.

What's surprising is the amount of Raptors fans that have been surprised by Kawhi's 1 on 1 style of basketball and limited passing ability I guess they hadn't watched the Spurs in years and thought this team still had passers and ball movement in Pop's magic system..

Why play him when they keep beating the crap out of teams when hes out.

I'm curious though, is he on the bench at least to support his teammates?

Yeah it's funny it was like topic #1 here. KAWHISO.

hes a great individual player but he does not excel at making plays for others. Hes made plays for others but its not his forte.

Hes just an outstanding 1 on 1 player but it limits the team to an extent.
