This game can go either way, of course. Hoping that it will go the Spurs' way despite the Worriers' 2 game losing streak, which could be fuel for them for this game. But the Spurs also have their own losing streak to rectify as well. And it seems that against top teams or rivals, the Spurs seem to answer the bell and play up to teams with good records or are rivals. There's no Draymond nor a Pachulia or McGee to cause Aldridge fits. There's only Jerebko and Bell who will match up with Aldridge. Hopefully he will take advantage of the mismatches and have a big game. Of course there's Durant and Thompson which can offset the balance due to the Spurs not having anyone to really play good defense against them. Cook isn't too bad either, so White will have his work cut out. Who will guard Thompson? Forbes or DD10? Will Cunningham be assigned to Durant? Will Pop continue with the current lineup or for this game or make a change to matchup with the Worriers? Hopefully last year's playoffs will still be on their minds and use that as fuel for this game. Hoping that couple of these things will help to get the win, plus the back to back games for the Worriers will hopefully be another negative factor against them as well. Spurs still have a good chance though! GSG!!!

Realistically if Gay and Bertans are out then Cunningham and Pondexter would guard Durant right? And MAYBE DeRozan instead of Pondexter? Idk, but I'd say we're screwed with that matchup. I'd probably stick DDR on Thompson and hopefully keep him under 30 (although it certainly isn't given) and let Durant get his. If we play smart and double team Klay/Durant at the right times then I could see the team finding a way to win although it's not necessarily likely. Quinn Cook and Jerebko aren't bad players by any means and they can shoot but I'd rather have them taking open shots than Durant taking Cunningham off the dribble (not really fair to ask of Cunningham he doesn't have the footspeed or lateral movement to keep up) and Forbes trying to run around screens defending Klay Thompson (same issues present themselves.) It'll be interesting to see what Pop goes with.
