Not a huge fan of Dennis managment way of securing the max deal but you cqnt aruge with the results. Hes about to get paid and tha raps are bending backwards so he can finish the year without any injury
Kyle Lowry has been the better player so far. Kawhi Leonard missed like 5 games already. Lowry carried the team. Yeah I know what you mean by 25 points though.

That isn't strictly true. He did iso, sure, but the Spurs would also use him off screens, and ye olde pick'n'roll, and he was deadly.
I wish the Spurs would do more screens and pick'n'roll, and pick'n'pop, for DDR, but the Spurs team offense just sux this year.
He tends to be bipolar when it comes to Kawhi. I remember during the summertime he defended Kawhi and then turned on him and is now back on the wagon again. It's like someone who can get over the break up of an ex.

Because trashing his basketball skills is ing stupid. He pretty much revived Duncan's career. Sure, Tiago and Green definitely helped, but they weren't the ones going toe to toe with KD and LBJ, 2 of the greatest players of all time. I mean sure, he quit on the Spurs and he's a sad excuse of a man but to try and diminish what he meant to the Spurs comes off as pathetic and resentful.

Not really, he's a great basketball player but comes off as a lost child otherwise. I still love his game though and enjoy watching him play.
He's not gettin the max if he doesn't make an All-NBA team or win DPOY/MVP and he probably won't cause he sits out too many games
Hes making the 2nd team. Hes that good. Playing at 70% and making 2nd team. He deserves it but I know the reasoning behind not giving it.
No but I still acknowledge his skills. I consider him the true MVP of 2017 and potentially the best player on earth, but he's too fragile and re ed to grab that status.

Kawhi is probably the best basketball player in the world right now and was instrumental in us winning the 5th.
We don't know what happened behind the scenes, and certainly seems like Kawhi really ed Spurs over in the worst kind of ways, but we don't and never will know the full story.
Kawhi is probably gonna be the player with highest win % when all is said and done.

I like Giannis this year as MVP. Kawhi will deservedly finish 2nd team All NBA. Not his fault but Durant, LeBron, AD, and Giannis all have had better years.

All of kawhis first team came in seasons both Durant and Lebron had great seasons. I do think kawhi doesnt deserve 1 1st team if he keeps up with his rest BS by January though

And there was some narrative that Goldent St was better without him than with him. 2 championships and finals MVPs later and that narrative is gone. I mean nobody even gives him flack for being the weakest superstar ever, ESPN has been printing out that he chose the hardest route by joining the Warriors
If the Raptors keep up their winning ways without him then Kawhi will have to fight that narrative that they're just as good without him. At the end of the day, I just don't see him jumping TWO of these names: Lebron, KD, AD, and Giannis.

Its way to early in the season. Bucks are only two games ahead of the 5th seed. AD is not making first team, at least I dont think he should over Embiid.
Embiid has been an absoulte monster. Im surprised hes not getting that much MVP buzz. Hes looked like the best player in the east by a decent margin.
Oh I wanted Embiid since he broke his foot the second time. I was like he's a beast and maybe Philly lost faith, get him at all costs! I actually don't really mind that Kawhi left tbh. I was the only Spurs fan I know (even before he pulled off that bs last year) that didn't want to resign Kawhi. I think he is a phenomenal player and I don't hate him or anything, but I just don't think that any player is worth $43 million a year. I knew that was his going price to stay and I didn't want to cripple us down financially like Houston did. I really like our team going forward assuming we have health and make a few tweaks (getting rid of Patty, drafting a SF, and bringing over Nikola).
