LMAO right? Sagirl, I enjoy your posts but in this thread there really isn't logic to your posts. I would think the organization and their health group learned their lesson from the Kawhi drama.

well, in some ways. she's right. her medical opinions are so speculative and lacking in medical evidence they essentially aren't medical opinions.
You are entirely too pessimistic. Yes, two knee injuries early on could doom him (ala Brandon Roy) but we've seen other players suffer similar injuries and have great careers (ala Tim Duncan, Dwyane Wade and Russell Westbrook).
I think it is better to take a wait and see approach instead constantly worrying about things out of our control.
Is this the same injury Westbrook had twice?
Similar, yes. Even down to (pure speculation on my part) them needing to "go back in" and make some corrective procedure. It sounds like that is what they've done with Walker and not a complete repair or removal of the meniscus.
if his hairstyle doesnt affect his game then your wrong,
him and like anyone else in the league who are fkn scrubs who havnt proven , who focus into their hair to stand out on tv, just like those scrubs who started to wear arm sleeves and leg sleeves, let alone tattoo sleeves like its a fashion trend...
to busy trying to look good on tv, bbut their game are total
Too early to say but you could very well be right.
The difference is that Lonnie played an entire season of NCAA ball between surgeries. Westchuck had a second surgery before he returned from the first one.
Well, it probably does have a minor impact on his game - that looks to be a couple of pounds of hair, and it's lifted up and away from his skull, meaning it will impact his balance put a little bit more effort on his neck muscles, but I really doubt it's a big deal. As a haircut, I think it looks dumb-ass, but that's his personal business, and none of mine.
I always worry about recurring knee and ankle injuries (on the same joint) - no medical training/opinion here - but very often they are a bad sign for player durability...
I’m a nurse. An incision doesn’t have to be covered for weeks. I’m sure the Spurs doctor gave him instructions. Duh!!
I can’t wait until this kid is healthy and hopefully stays healthy. I think he can make an immediate impact on this team.
Oh yeah... baby claw![]()
nb.....gleague = ed
I do think Walker will help the team when he gets healthy. You can see he's got a ton of talent. Pop will have to endure his NBA learning curve, but I think he's got more upside than even guys like Murray.
and White, and Mills, and Forbes....
"work his way back" for the rest of the season
He'll use his time in the G-League in training to get over himself.
I am afraid of that...
Fine - put him in the G-League for a few weeks to work his conditioning back and learn some sets.
But I'm not sure how carrying Jeff Ledbetter's bags in the G-League for an entire season is supposed to help him become a legit NBA player when there's minutes for him now on the main team's garbage roster.
It's fun to see ST groupthink develop in the face of contradicting evidence in real time.
