It was only reinstated for due process. The judge did not rule on the First Amendment aspect as far as I know. After due process they can suspend it again and the trial will have to start again.
Trump and the WH are addicted to losing at this point.
This will only make the judge's order for Acosta's pass to be reinstated even more valid and re-enforces the fact Trump is actively trying to violate the guy's first and fifth ammendment rights.

The case is not even over yet. The judge ordered the WH to reinstate his pass while they continue with the case.
I would imagine the WH already threatening to suspend his credentials again will not play well with this judge and case going forward.
