Thanks for explaining that. I wasn't sure how high up the Raptors are on your favourite team list. It's a really ty situation to be in. I've watched most Raptors games (I figured, why not, since I have International League Pass and can watch any team or game, I might as well use it) as I like Lowry and still like Danny Green as a person even though I wanted him traded as a player, I always thought he was a good guy that was loyal to the Spurs, but it really does suck seeing him on another Kawhi and Danny (more so now because he's playing much better this season and I didn't know he had a groin injury for most of last season until after the trade) on another team.
I don't really have a second favourite team as I pretty much only used to follow and/or watch the Spurs during the whole Tim Duncan era. I wasn't interested in watching any other teams back then because I didn't like the way/type of Basketball they played compared to how the Spurs played. I usually only watched the match-ups between the other top teams to kind scout and size them up for when they play against the Spurs. I also don't like following players that are ty people off the court and selfish players on the court (apart from when the game is on the line, I think it's OK to be a little selfish if you're a Superstar level player when the game in on the line). Anyway, I've been trying to watch Raptors games due to the above reasons, plus I don't mind them overall because I never had a problem with them in the past. I'm also trying to watch some other teams such as Milwaukee due to Giannis being an amazing player and now Bud being their head coach seems to be taking them to another level so far.
He does not look like the real Kawhi to me right now. 2017 Kawhi was a monster on both ends. He was that dominant. I don't know if it's because of rust, or if he still isn't back to being 100% phyiscally. If he's 100% physically healthy right now, and if he was also 100% healthy the second half of last season like some people have mentioned, then I think uncle dennis and his crew made a big mistake having him sit out the second half of last season because it may have negatively impacted his game (again, this only applies if he was healthy).
How pissed would the Raptors be if he bolts after catering this much to him throughout the year? If he leaves, I bet they're going to wish that they played him in every back to back and had gotten more of their money's worth out of him.
Roster u serious? They beat the bulls and the Lakers... And against the bulls they sat their best players... With Kawhi they actually beat the good teams... Without him VS good teams they lost... Let's not pretend as if Kawhi doesn't bring wins... I understand ur mad... But let's not be Thanos and change reality... Toronto is the best team in the league and most likely will make the finals... And Kawhi is the warrior's kryptonite, so who knows what happens there

Ballhog? The guy is taking 18 shots per game... The raptors are averaging more assists this year as a team than they did last year... We are averaging less assists as a team this year than we did when Kawhi had a full season with us... And there is a Toronto article downplaying Kawhi not being on the bench saying he is in the locker room before the game with his teammates, but remains behind for training...
Raptors fans are shook because they very well know that Kawhi Leonard might leave the team and they will be forced to start from middle of no where as their best player(Kyle) is 33 years old. If Kawhi leaves, they would likely stay compe ive in the regular season as long as Lowry plays well. But they will get bounced in the 1st round.
if you read the realgm threads on raptors board. You'll see people call out leonard for taking bad shots. Some are calling him worse than DeRozan offensively. The board goes nuts and panics after losing a game lol

kawhi hasn’t been exactly what he was (so far at least)... he plays like he’s 25 lbs heavier (other than when he’s posting up). idk if he’s not 100 or just not playing at 100. i have noticed less explosiveness, and just seems like moves slower. could be he’s on a new team/taking it easy to start the season. rust from not playing last season?
i’d say so far kawhi has been 80% of what he was. maybe he knows he doesn’t have to push so hard for the raptors to win games.
Kawhi’s #1 goal is getting that max contract. Winning basketball games isn’t his priority right now. He wants to get his stats while playing as few games as possible to get that contract. Don’t expect him to give full effort in the playoffs where there’s increase chance of getting injured
