Like I said earlier, I didn't want to sign him for the supermax. He's a great player no doubt but not worth $43 million. Especially if he's going to sit out a third of the season. At least harden played all 82 games. Dude never had surgery and isn't even injured this year (by his own words) and is still resting. And that's after coming off an entire season of not playing. He has no dog in him anymore. Maybe once he gets paid he will get it back but he's too scared right now.

I didnt like resting him either when he was on the Spurs. Plus he did play back to backs with us. If hes not injured then what are you being careful about? You don't rest Kobe or Jordan or prime Duncan. Different era for sure but if you get paid that much and have all of these amenities, I expect you to play. To me, he just lost his dog and he isn't showing me any signs of getting it back.

Should he have come back to support his teammates? Maybe, but the Spurs were getting bounced in the first round with or without Kawhi regardless. Had he comeback and signed a supermax with the Spurs, You'd be very supportive and wouldn't give a flying about what happened last year. Also, let me remind you he did come back to play nine games so it wasn't like he was faking the season away so he could get the out of town. He was actually injured. So to be clear, he didn't quit on his teammates, he quit on the organization.
