I was so hyped to get the Spidey bundle yesterday but everything was sold out at this ty rural town I'm working at. I was so pissed that I ended up dropping four ing bills on the PS4 baller edition with Red Dead Redemption 2.
In retrospect it wasn't all that bad. Gamestop threw in a $50 gift card and I managed to pick up Uncharted The Collection, Uncharted 4, Metal Gear Solid 5, Resident Evil 7, and The Last of Us. So essentially 4K capabilities with eight solid games for $400. Not bad.
All high quality games but you should rush back to Gamestop and pick up Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition for $10 as well as God of War for $22 on PSN. Also check if you have a 20% off coupon for PSN in the box. Not sure if you get one with the Pro, but recent Slim bundles get one. Horizon is supposed to be especially impressive on the Pro. I wish I'd known. I got last of us for like $14 I think. Horizon is $10 that's ing crazy. I'm thinking of getting Shadow of the Colossus.

I have an old 2016 55" Samsung curved TV in my room but it isn't 4K. 1080 doesn't do justice even with the supersampling does it?
You got about a billion variables to consider with your choice of TV. Eg budget, bright room vs dark room, HDR vs input lag, etc. I can't tell you whether you'd notice much difference between 4k and 1080p from a few feet away. Some people can tell the difference, some can't.

After going 1ms for so long to playing on a TV, god damn the input lag is bad. Game mode fixes it, but limits the visual settings

No one in his right mind would play games on non game mode on a TV though. Of course input lag is going to be horrific when it's buffering frames to do interpolation in between them.
I thought you weren't a fan of the TR series. I remember you not being that excited when CPY crack SOTR even though it was the first Denuvo game cracked in about a year.
CPY is bending Denuvo over pretty dirty. It's not like 4-5 years ago when you'd get everything Day 1 but it's worlds ahead of a couple of years ago when you had games going a year before getting cracked.Hitman 2 is already on sale? Them boys dont play.
Man you seen the 2060 leaked benchmarks? looks disappointing, only a 30% gain over a 1060 6GB at 4k in FF XV, which would make it weaker than a 1070. I bet the er will sell for 1070 prices though.

This edition comes with both of the DLC. This game has great exploration, really strong combat (especially using the different oils on your blade to get a leg up on different enemies), top notch writing and voice acting, both DLC are amazing too, an enormous world filled with interesting quests, and it has perhaps the best lighting I have ever seen in a game. I can't recommend it highly enough. I do think IGN's score is a little low in their review though; I'd call it a 9.5/10 where I'd define 9/10 a must play, 9.5/10 one of the top 25 games I have ever played, and 10/10 on of the top 10 games I have ever played. I doubt the performance issues they brought up still persist, especially on the PS4 Pro, since this game came out it in 2015 and has had a lot of performance updates since (I played it on PC though).
I'm a nut for Tomb Raider games so I'm debating whether to play SOTR or RDR2 next now that I'm pretty much done with Super Mario Odyssey. I gotta see how SOTR runs on a 970. I imagine I'll need to drop to medium to have much chance of 60 fps since I had to drop to high to hit that on SOTR back in 2016.
EDIT: Aw from Gamegpu.ru's benchmark it seems like the performance drops off about 15% in DX11 vs DX12 on a 970 with SOTR. I really don't feel like installing Windows 10 right now.

I like this Tomb Raider installment better than the other two for sure.. One, it has the best setting of the 3.. I personally hated the almost exclusive snow environments of the last one. Adding new gameplay features like climbing underneath ledges adds another level to the climbing too.. They also fixed one of my biggest gripes and overhauled the whimpy weapon sounds of the last couple of games
I wasn't able to get DRM's Hitman 2 to work, so I returned it, no restock fee. I downloaded the "real proper" crack and installed it on top of the existing files just like any other release, but no dice.

CPY is the gold standard. CODEX nuked their FF XV release once CPY cracked it.

Why? CPY, CODEX, FCKDRM, etc have nothing to do with how the game is packed. They just patch the executable.
I have no problem with any of the iso files, but I haven't noticed FCKDRM does things that way..
It's just whoever packs the game. If you get CPY releases off igg-games they'll be in rar files. If you get them off skidrowreloaded they're straight isos.
Just finished Odyssey and started RDR2... was gonna pick up that Switch $199 bundle if I could find it, but looks like it's out of stock everywhere by now... oh well...
There was never a $199 bundle, it was Switch + digital copy of Mario Kart 8 for $300 (plus a $50 Gamestop gift card if you bought from them). Gamestop has a Switch + $50 Gamestop gift card + $35 Nintendo eshop deal up now for Cyber Monday though for $300.
