I really don't think it is in Pop's DNA. I am just sick that he didn't retire immediately following last season. That was the perfect moment for the franchise. After all, Pop can't be hoping to hang on for more than another 2 years max, can he? He most certainly can't hang on until we are true contenders once again. He has to know that. Although, come to think of it, I believe he is delusional - just to what extent?
Why do people keep saying that? By all accounts, SA played better than CHI. Only 10 TOs. More rebounds. Shot better from the field. Kept FT close.
They had a terrible last minute but CHI didn’t deserve to win over SA.

Injuries and Ricky Rubio hasn't played well at all.
What injuries? Every game I've seen from them this year they have been complete and getting their pushed in.
Mitc has played maybe half their games, and Favors' knees/ankles are ed at this point (he's playing through it but it's clear he isn't even 80%).
That was a very mediocre showing against a very bad team. They deserved to have the moral loss. I also wish to tank. Playoffs with this team hold no appeal whatsoever to me.
Tbh, every team on the West looks mediocre as right now. Anything can happen from here 'till the end of the season. Spurs need to upgrade though. This roster isn't going to cut it.

Orlando is playing well lately and have beat the Spurs too (and a few other playoff teams like the Lakers). They are turning things around. They are not the Bulls.
Just finished the game and you really, really cant stress enough how bad Pop has been this season.

Davis almost caught them the game against one of the worst teams in the league and Pop kept him in while Rudy on the bench. White hits a big 3 and is immediately subbed out. No timeout to advance the ball there at the end and almost lost on a buzzer beater.
Honestly, if he's coaching to tank, that would make a lot more sense.

Yes all that is true And still only beat the Chicago Bulls team without Portis, Markkanen and Dunn by 1 point, and almost lost the game.
