DC didn't have THE FLASH because of any long distance running prowess, he was there because of his outerwordly speed, that's why....THE FLASH.
Way way back in the day talking late 1800's. there was a guy named Lon Myers, in his career he would hold American records in the 50, 100, 200, 400, 800 and the mile.

I have decided to make him a sprinter who can only run up to 400m before he starts over heating. You can make Superboy something he never was, so I can do the same with THE FLASH.
