FTC to brief lawmakers on subpoena targeting Matthew Whitaker
will brief members of a Senate panel on the matter of
a subpoena it issued last year that Matthew Whitaker, now the acting attorney general, reportedly refused to comply with.
Whitaker declined to respond to the October 2017 subpoena from the FTC,
which had sought records related to his past relationship with World Patent Marketing, the Washington Post reported this month.
World Patent Marketing, a company accused by the government of bilking millions of dollars from consumers, admitted no fault but settled with the FTC for more than $25 million earlier this year. Whitaker was not named in that complaint.

His friends acting like that’s a daily occurrence. Casually walking to the ing idiot.
How did I miss this
What’s your conspiracy theory here, Pavlov?
TSA Where do you get off telling anyone how embarrassing they are for believing everything they read when you believed in pizzagate and thought Qanon was a shadow official in the government looking out for Trump.seriously
Trump supporters planting fake stories isn't terribly far fetched.
You have a better theory?
Let's hear it.
rough go for the circle jerk crew.
third story killed in as many days.
Manafort Lied About Business Dealings, Mueller’s Team Believes
Paul Manafort’s alleged misstatements to special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigators include comments about his personal business dealings and about his contacts with a former associate in Ukraine, say people familiar with the matter.
Those statements—among those described by Mr. Mueller as “lies” and Mr. Manafort as “truthful information” in a court filing Monday—are what led the special counsel this week to take the unusual step of ending the former Trump campaign chairman’s plea agreement 2½ months after it was reached, the people said.
The content of those statements don’t appear to be central to the allegations of Russian interference in the 2016 election that Mr. Mueller is investigating. It is unclear if prosecutors plan to accuse Mr. Manafort of additional lies.

Just stop. You are a joke already.
I would respect you if you just came out and said - "I am a moscow troll and it has been fun for two years"
Otherwise you are a disgusting traitor just like Trump.
Which one of your conspiracy theories is still active, TSA?
Kind of lost count of the ones you've had to abandon.
People ing out conspiracy theories in this thread is peak hypocrisy.
Lol, Manafort-Assange secret meetings.![]()
lol Darrin hates the USA and never has a take
Pretty sure that Manaforts attorneys are also going to be facing criminal charges for taking part in conspiring with Trumps attorneys and Manafort to obstruct justice, conspiracy - or bribery (trump dangling a pardon in exchange for manafort playing both sides) - and ALL in plain view.
Not even Nixon the crook went as far as to dangle a pardon in plain view - he did it secretly because he knew the risk. Trump and his legal team just did it in plain view.
Obstruction of Justice is not even a mystery anymore it has been proven - with ONLY PUBLIC INFORMATION - and anything Mueller has behind closed doors is just extra evidence of the continued pattern.
Collusion/Conspiracy already happened also - most of it in plain view - the rest in Muellers possession.
To idiots like TSA who defend these brazen criminals - history will not be kind and I am sure those traitors will move the goalposts - again - once the indictments are filed in court and Trump is prosecuted.
Prove me wrong.
Nice edit. My take is that the Trump Russia collusion conspiracy is re ed.
And why is that, Darrin?
Because it’s stupid.
