At some point you have to wonder if it's worth chasing a playoff streak when this team needs to build towards the future of Spurs basketball.
As long as Pop is the head coach I don't see them trying to miss playoffs and tanking but getting a top 5 draft pick could never hurt.
Off years happen in the NBA all the time, Spurs haven't had one in like 2 decades. Very impressive.
Again I don't see them tanking with Pop as head coach and LMA and DeMar. Missing the playoffs would just have to happen out of cir stance.
If Spurs have an off year and miss playoffs, it happens. It doesn't mean you have to blow this roster up. LMA and DeMar are decent they need a third star.
Team has had injurys this season. Like I said if they have an off year so be it no need to blow it up yet.
This team is a game by game kind of team, hope they can build a winning streak.
