He has the inside track of the two way deal. Lock it in. Besides, there is nobody else worth a damn available.
nice
I hope it's not another mistake of the front office
Good for him to finally get at least a little money
Would not surprise me to see him stick around the league for a few years
Congrats to Jaron! I hope he has a nice career and makes good financial decisions.
Meh who Needs a sf!?
He really is a combo forward, tbh. Hasn't shown the quickness to be a full time SF.
like Dante
He has flashed a better 3-point stroke on occasion, but not a bad comparison.
Yeah, if he can develop even a competent three-point shot then he'll have a chance.
He's athletic, springy and can defend 3's & 4's (have to see at what level in NBA).
I'm happy someone is give him an opportunity on a NBA roster.
Congrats to Blossomgame
Another really good pick by RC.
I really liked him in college, and I was rooting for him to really get a shot with SA. I was really hoping he could carve a niche for himself with the Spurs. And if we didn't have so many young backcourt guys, I think Pop might have given Dante's spot (or Q-Pon's) to Jaron.
Yeah, I think he has chance to carve a niché in the NBA. Too bad the Spurs didn't think that chance was with them, though.
Especially with how starved the team is for some youth - yes, I know he's "not that young" but relative to the combo forwards (Gay, Cunningham and to a lesser extent Pondexter) on the roster - and athleticism.
It's tough to say whether Blossomgame will ever be more than a hustle tweener ... but he has a chance.
For the record, I would have kept him over Pondexter.
Either way, drafting a guy with the second to last pick in the draft who hangs around the NBA at all is impressive.
I think the fact of being drafted by Spurs actually ends up giving these players an advantage
I wish him the best.
Alonzo Gee 2.0. Whatever he is I doubt he could be worse than Cunnigham & Pondexter.
