No one on the Spurs ever had it. Only players in my lifetime have been MJ and Kobe. Killer instinct means you would offer your first born for a le. Spurs were anyways too polite for that.

Nobody would kill any baby to win a basketball game, don't be dumb. And Kobe only cared about winning as long as he could take most of the credit, he didn't care about winning as a side show. That's why he ran Shaq out of town.

A true killer instinct having winner does anything he needs to do to win. Even if that means having Hall of fame talent but accepting coming off the bench for most of his career.
