Wow 3rd time in 4 games we've lost by 30 or more. Unreal how terrible we are.

    LBJ's gotta be salivating

Everything blew up when Number Two wanted out. Suddenly everything that was built around him becomes irrelevant, but PATFO doesn't attempt to make adjustments other than than to hopefully get DeRozan in exchange for continued high volume midrange scoring. Also with the emergence of Murray to have a all around breakout season, again, PATFO put all their eggs in one basket with him, too, hoping that this team would stay compe ive. But whem he went down for the season with his injury, this also drastically affected the team's rhythm and flow on both sides of the ball. But they would also suffer on the defensive end with the departure of Green, Anderson, etc. The way this team has to win right now is is to have both Aldridge and DeRozan score on a average of 20 points each; RG22 play well by giving them at least 15 points a game; Bertans & Forbs would have to score at least 10 points each per game, while the bench would have to give you another 15 to 20 points or so. All of this would have to be done at a nightly and consistent basis EVERY GAME! Oh, did I also mentioned that they would also have to play good defense and commit low turnover percentages on a consistent basis, too? Until PATFO makes drastic changes either this season or the next, then we'll be in for watching a whole bunch of games like this and their chances of maintaining their playoff streak is in grave danger.

The starting five still aint working . Always playing from behind and cant get stops.

Might seem desperate but I would start Poetle. He looking comfortable out there on both ends and Spurs could use his D to make up for their smalls looking absolutely helpless when applying defense.

Sean is such a stupid homer
    probably a spurstalk poster

Worst defensive team in the league and as the great Nasir Jones once said, "It ain't hard to tell"
some of us already predicted this when the roster was formed with a lot of players under 6'6 '' and less than 1 small forward

incredible. team has really given up on that senile old er
they did not give up, they do not have the physical ability (and basketball IQ) to defend in the nba currently, if they try they will only commit a lot of fouls and lead the other team to the free throw line practically the whole game

Suddenly everything that was built around him becomes irrelevant.
this team was built around Greg Popovich (with Kawhi or Derozan), unless someone really believed that a team around Kawhi would consist of a lot of dwarves, if that's the case, Pop went crazy

bryn forbes (aka "a dwarf") as a starter in 2018, until this team increases its size in the perimeter this will keep happening

The only starter playing competent enough d is Lamrcus Aldridge. One of five ain't going to cut it. Pop gotta figure something out . It jus cant be Dante .

Rudy isn't close to 100percent . Start Poetle instead.

It wasn't really built around Kawhi... Kawhi just made it look good... Let's not pretend as if Kawhi liked the roster

I'll say it again, there is definitely no surprise on why KL and even TP wanted no part of this show of a roster. GG Pop, GG RC..

I’ll be the first one to admit I don’t like the construction of this roster but after the kawhi deal happened who was the spurs suppose to add to help? There wasn’t a whole lot of good free agents that we could afford and that would want to come to SA after all the players we loss

We have argued this millions of times. Anything would have been better than DeRozan.

No . If this is the team that was "built around Kawhi" then Kawhi made the right move in leaving because, with or without Kawhi, LMA/Gay/Mills/Gasol/Forbes/White/etc is still a horrible supporting cast.

    1. Anything is better than a 2pt shooting psuedo-all star.
    2. You didn't have to double down on midgets and losers like Forbes, Beli, Cunningham, etc.
    3. Didn't help that the Spurs blew their load the summer before on Mills and Gasol for culture instead of looking for an upgrade in talent. Their fault. No one else's.
