I'm glad I switched over to a Gonzaga game as soon as the Spurs lost and saw Rui Hachimura hit a game winner. Hope he's there on the draft board for the Spurs with their first round pick.

At least one Spurs fan was a winner tonight, tbh.
Spurs should not make any trades that give up any picks unless they are able to dump two players (with one being Mills).
It’s a good game. Tbh LeBron had too many calls going his way and helped sway to Lakers
No. Cunningham starting and playing on Lebron while he went for 20 in the fourth quarter is what swayed the game.
We can go on and on about the ty defense and lack of help for DeRozan, LMA, and Gay but the terrible execution, especially in the 4th quarter rarely gets mentioned. I've always had issues with players going for a three late in the game when the team is down within 2 points, tied, or up within 2. I think a team should always look for high percentage shots. Pop teams have always prided themselves on passing up a good shot for a great shot. THIS Spurs team is the complete an hesis of that. The game is tied 104-104 after the Lakers hit a three and what does dumb ass "leader" Mills do? He jacks up a three and bricks. They have been doing this constantly this season. The shot selection is simply horrible. The worst shot selection I've seen as a Spurs fan.
We only have 3 decent players on the roster![]()
Only LMA, Demar and Gay can take their man. The rests need ball movement to get easier shots, to allow them to contribute. Otherwise it’s too much load to put on the big 3. I saw a Manuesque pass in the corner 3 to Mills. That’s the first time I’ve seen this season tbh
This. It's amazing we've won as many games as we have with this roster.
I had/have a bet on it. Not looking real great atm.
I mean, let's be honest. Tonight the Spurs were gifted refs that hated Josh Hart and Brandon Ingram going out in the first quarter with an ankle sprain. That probably saved the Spurs from being blown out again.![]()
The Spurs are the inferior team, missing their starting PG and backup PF/C, and played a game last night... the Lakers should’ve won the game handily regardless.
It's Forbes and Cunningham doing Forbes and Cunningham things. What else do you expect from those two? And those numbers don't show how awful they were defensively.
Truth. It's like Pop gave the entire team the green light.
The only reason for Forbes to play is his outside shot...when he has these kind of percentages he's tragic for the team...the bad point is that most of his shots tonight were from good to very good (open/wide open) shooting oppotunities...
this
yes sr players
What the is this love affair between Pop and Forbes. The guy has two points and Pop is rubbing his back and squeezing Forbes tight. Some kind of man love or something. Pop is just flat out getting out coached by every coach we go up against. He is looking lost this season.
Evidently
He's trying to coach up his charity case. He knows deep down that this kid and his baby mama drama isn't very good, but Pop's ego allows him to think that maybe he can coach him up a bit to justify giving him a deal.
A Pop-coached team is not complete without one.
That was the same foul for which Aldridge got a flagrant foul: not giving the shooter enough landing space.
Not only did Gay have space to land but he also had no reaction because there was no foul
Ingram twisted his ankle, just like Kiwi.
