The dude reminds me of Shawn Kemp. We would still have zero shooting and zero defense if we pick him but I still like him

Everytime I see highlights from this dude, all I see is a dunking parade over kids. Yeah, the athleticism he has for such a big body is impressive but I would like to see something else. Some one on one ability, some nifty passes, I don't know, anything besides bully ball over lesser athletes.

But but but Anthony Bennett just dropped 36 on the Austin Spurs going 8-9 from 3
I would sign him. Could not be any worse, and you might strike gold. He's been hitting the three regularly.

Zion is for real. IF he stays healthy, he is going to be a very good player. His combination of strength, mass, and amazing athleticism is nearly unprecedented (think young Barkley and Lebron). He's 18 and already has some skills - he will undoubtedly get better. My worry WRT to him, is can his joints hold up to his weight given the explosiveness with which he plays. Lebron's have, but Lebron is a freak...

The "South Beach Diet" can add muscle mass and recovery, but I've never heard of it making your tendons and connective tissue stronger. Lebron is huge, powerful, and plays incredibly fast for his size: he puts enormous stress on his joints; it's physics. Yet he's never had a problem... Great genetics I guess, because I don't think roids can do that.

He's obviously on PEDs(as is every pro athlete) but that isn't the reason for his durability..they would actually make it more likely to cause injuries, not prevent them

Harlem can actually read. You're illiterate, and it shows. We've had this kind of discussion before.

To explain it for you: Roids = Bigger Stronger muscles = MORE force on the tendons and connective tissue. Roids =/= stronger tendons and connective tissue. Roids = more likely for your joints to FAIL. Lebron is very likely on roids. He is freaky big, freaky strong, and freaky fast. Yet due to great genes, his joints have not been a problem.

To bring it back on topic. Zion is also freaky big, strong and fast. Can his joints hold up to this level of stress once he gets older? That is the biggest risk to him having a strong to great NBA career.

We need a rebuild now.....right now.

With Zion Williams, a healthy Dejonte and Lonnie Walker, DeRozen, Gay and LA.

Who knows? Maybe we can actually compete!!!
Are we talking about a Zion Williams like you say or are we talking about Zion Williamson of Duke? I'm confused.

It's crazy how many people have never seen Zion Williamson play comment that he's fat and overweight and underskilled.
    spurstalk

Not good. But as proven by young Lebron, Greak Freak, and Simmons you don't need one if you're unstoppable.
this, Shaw Kemp would be the closest comparison to reality (though that kid might be even more athletic, if that's really possible), but I think of a rich man Julius Randle comparing to a current player, would still like to draft Barrett with a first pick, but this kid will destroy already in his rookie year, no doubt

you sir have the dumbest idiotic comment of the day. Many analysts who have actually played the game of basketball, including myself, would tell you that you're crazy! This dude is better than lebron out of high school , faster stronger etc. He reminds me of shaq out of college. Was he big?? Yes he was and was around his size. This kid is still growing thats what you don't understand. FAT?? LOL!! Have you been watching the games or only seeing highlights? dumb..
What?? Better than leBron out of high school?

Sure we can.............just lose without anyone knowing its intentional. Drop like 97% of our games the rest of the way, and we will be in the top 3 for picks.

    ITS EASY!!!

I actually work out a ton. For 10 plus years now. You get wear and tear if you dont watch yourself. If your muscles get weaker, your "joints" get weaker. Dumb .

I've watched Zion highlights and he seems like a #20 pick and below to me.

T-rex arms, doesn't have a position, can't shoot. His shots will get swatted by the Whitesides of the NBA. His defense sucks too.

If you can't shoot, you better be Giannis. This guy will be a huge flop
