So says the acolytes of the Cult of Cooperate knowledge around here

I'm not convinced about "The Pillar"
On good nights, he and DeMar are the only play makers we have. It's all relative, not like we're comparing White to the best in the league here.

Honestly, Bryn Forbes is one of the worst 2s in the NBA. I'd rather have just about every other guard - both PG and SG - in the league over him.

The guy is 324 out of 447 players in RPM. He's always going to be a ing negative... and he's beyond a negative. Like a ing black hole if you want success.

According to Udoka he is the biggest surprise on the roster. Which means they didn't expect him to be this good. And he is bad, so that means they thought he would be even worse. Makes you wonder why they even resigned him for 2.5 mill if they thought of him like that

Forbes is one player I believe you should throw metrics out the window. He, more than anyone, is asked to fight wayyyyyy above his weight class. He’s got flaws. He’s a role player. But he has improved and if were able ever to excecute in the proper role I think you would see a big shift in his metrics.

Realistically How much can Forbes improve until the end of his prime?
His ceiling is Gary Hero Neal.

And that doesn't tell the whole story. He's 324th in RPM in general but when you factor in minutes played, he's amongst the very worst period in that category. Without hyperbole, he's got to be objectively one of the very worst starters in the PATFO era, tbh.

Let's not be dumb an say he hadn't improved at all. He's not the answer plus he was thrown into this position because of Murray's Injury. Him off the bench as a SG wouldn't have been so bad.

Yes, he couldn't help but improve with the minutes he's been given but that's not saying much at all. He went from a thoroughly horrible g-leaguer to a guy who is barely justified having a rotation spot on a mediocre NBA team. He's not a decent NBA player, period.

It makes you wonder how a Front office that is suppose to be way ahead of the curve when it comes to analytics can be so far off. They're either lying to themselves or they're trying to build up Forbe's confidence. He's being babied by Pop the same way George Lucas babied Lloyd Daniels, another garbage player that had no business being on an NBA roster.

He is the type of player you want on your team if your tanking. Glad he is on the team this year but next year no reason to keep him as you will have DEROZZ, Walker, Mills, and White at SG.

Curry with a slower release so it'll get blocked more.
Lol. Curry's handles and mid range game are so elite you cannot even compare the two. Pop did but I'm sure he was joking. His absolute ceiling is Gary Neal imo. Probably wont get there since Neal was a better athlete.

The best he could hope is to be a less intelligent of Steve Kerr.
