Poeltl in 4 Min more productive than LMA in 8....guess who gets the bulk of playing time.
I was wondering...did Marco shoot all these crazy off balance shots super often on his previous stint with us? I remember some, but not nearly as much as he does it these days. Maybe it's his way of compensating with losing a step. Seems every other shot is extremely off balance/off one leg, etc...not commenting on this game, just in general.

Didn't get the points but that was one beast of a rebound by Poeltl.
It's bewildering, he didn't even shoot that out of control last season with Brett Brown's Sixers. He even had a couple of pivotal shooting games that helped them advance to the second round. He gets together with Pop and Messina and all discipline vanishes. True prodigal pet status.

Crazy how far he’s come in a month tbh. Literally 4 weeks ago STers we’re saying what player he was and that they couldn’t believe we traded for him instead of one of the other Raptors role players. But he’s showing he can play effectively at this level, and he just turned 23 a couple months ago. He’s 4-5 years from his prime tbh.

@Toronto he played even better, but Siakam, Van Vleet and others were more Flashy so his performances were not as acknowledged as others. In San Antonio it seems he gets a greater focus. An damn he is a presence at the glass today.
