It was cool seeing patty all fired up after that possession and high fiving teammates there at the end. Doesnt seem the same as when Duncan would grab teammates or push them after a great play but I think that is Patty's version of leadership.

What? It happens a lot. He doesn't always draw techs from it, but yeah, it gets to him a lot. Him getting mad at the ref wasn't the issue. It's that when he doesn't get one call, he starts to force up bad drives trying to force the whistle. Sometimes those get him calls; sometimes they don't. Sometimes he legit gets hit; sometimes he doesn't. When he doesn't get the calls, he can shoot himself out of a game. He's done it numerous times this season, and he did it a lot during previous post-seasons, which contributes more to his anti-clutch rep than anything else.

I mean of course he gets frustrated, most guys do. But that sequence, he absolutely had a legit beef. He shouldn't have kept quiet.

I know he forced one after looking for a call, and that's something hopefully he does less. He's just gotta know refs hold grudges, and won't give you calls if you complain then try and force the issue
