In your expert journalistic opinion, how should an article approach a situation where the (still only alleged) bullying was done by kids of several demographics?
Perhaps a pie chart of the various races of students accused of bullying?
Maybe the mother didn't state the race of that particular kid so the reporter couldn't actually, you know, report the race of that kid. Seems like a hearsay thing anyway.

how'd you read the article initially? did you read it like your brethren who instantly saw white on black (hate)bullying or did you assume many different scenarios?

When I read it I assumed the girl went to a majority black school and it was allegedly black children bullying her over being friends with a white kid. I'm not sure how you think the Post should have mentioned the ethnicities of the as-yet-unconfirmed bullies.
that's how i read it too but not many here read it like we did. as well, "un-confirmed", i'm sure the school knows and her parents too and have known for some time now.
