I'm willing to bet he mixed up Shepherd with the kid committed to the Ags. I drink the cool aid as much as anyone and I don't think he is anywhere close to top 100 much less top 10. Shepherd has the measurables to be that high but he doesn't play like it.
He didn't. This isn't the first time he mentions Shepherd. A few weeks ago he said that you could make a case for Shepherd as the number 1 player in the country. He keeps coming back to "He can be as good as he wants to, or bad". He really, really likes Shepherds upside.

"As good as he wants to be" is a phrase that imo is code for he has motivation problems.

This, taken along with him having to sit out due to discipline...
Part of the package is the type of kid that works hard and can be a leader and a good teammate. Caden Sterns...
If he is disruptive, I would rather not have him at all. Should be interesting.

Not so sure if he's projected third round or lower.

I like to think the difference with Humphrey is he's not itching to get out of the program like Malik, DeShon and Connor.

The guys seemed to genuinely have fun this year, but then again, everyone wants to get paid.

After looking through some mocks and WR rankings they have Johnson going in rounds 2-3 and LJH between rounds 4-6. If those stay true, then I can see both guys returning. Johnson has the size and potential to be a 1st rounder with LJH going in rounds 2-3. Maybe it’s just wishful thinking

At some point, all these PWO will be good enough to play special teams and starters won’t be getting injured.

Hopefully one of them is good enough to play RB, we may need him.

TIFWIW, but The Football Brainiacs mentioned there is "some increasing optimism" on RB Noah Cain.

However, they weren't specific about what that means other than Cain having connections to the state and UT having made him a priority from the beginning.

You can see him play in the state championships this week and he's been electric this year.

24/7 has a Stanford source telling them they aren't as confident as they once were on WR Elijah Higgins.

They thought he was a lock once he was accepted, and didn't expect him to take his recruitment to the early signing period.

Higgins was accepted into Stanford about (2) Months ago. You'd think he would have jumped on board by now. Nahlin and IT seem to think there "may" be some smoke with this.
