I mean, you gotta at least think about what to do with his deal. I'm not loving the idea of trading a pick outside a Porter deal. The team just needs more than a minor trade can resolve.
~$10 million of cap space next summer ought to be able to get us something by way of picks/young players.

Every Spurs player should be requesting the use of a personal doctor in lieu of the incompetent team docs. Those hacks are just as clueless as Pop, Buford, and the ass kissers on the coaching staff. Once upon a time, this team was great from top to bottom. They're now a shadow of what they once were due to talent drain(Duncan, Manu, Parker, Kawhi, Danny) and brain drain(Bud, Forcier, Brett, Marks).

So much for the one "silver lining" of being tradeable that the FO slurpers touted to justify that awful contract.

Maybe the medical staff needs to be fired. Kawhi, DG, and now Pau.

Thanks for the update. I imagine some rehab is required and conditioning to get in shape again after being in a walking boot.

Poeltl is going to go back to his usual 5 minutes once Gasol comes back. What a travesty.

Maybe JMacdonald can jump in with some breaking news about what kind of yogurt Pau has been eating while he's been out.

well Pau has posted a picture of him working out and playing ball, not just gym work. I'm more curious about him fitting into the rotation. I bet Pop will replace Cunningham with him

That would be nice. That's really the best fit for Gasol at this point. Even with Gasol and LMA out there together in limited minutes and some of the potential disadvantages with that lineup defensively, it's still better than having Cunningham on the floor. Poetl is developing nicely into his role with the second unit. I don't want Pop to mess that up. Let Gasol have spot minutes with both units.

I don't think Pau and Poeltl fit together. I also prefer Bertans next to LA. Not sure where Pau fits in. At this point I'd trade him for a 3-and-D wing

You had me at Kawhi's tendon. It's a bet.

When Pau comes back he should be used sparingly. He's best at feeding aldridge when his offense is stagnant but I prefer the constant screen and roll of poeltl.

I wonder about a Bertans - Gay - Gasol frontcourt. Might be trash, but the idea makes me curious. It ought to be a good passing combo, anyway.

Such a waste of an expiring trade asset too.
Such a waste of a roster spot
