I say he'll get a mixed reaction, nothing like when LeBron came to Cleveland after joining the Heat. It'll be interesting to hear the contrast with LDN's reception, which will be warmer, tbh. Of course, that game will be our Game 7 Finals game of the year, tbh.

When a player gets cheering or booing, the fans are paying attention and giving a about him. The worst thing would be to give him no reaction at all, with anything he does throughout the game. At the same time giving Danny Green a standing ovation every time he makes a play or touches the ball.

I expect that to be the first and maybe only game of the year where all the fans will arrive by the time the starting lineups are introduced. And i expect it to rain boos like we've never heard before at the att center. Of course only when Kawhi is introduced or touches the ball.
It will probably be one of the more emotional games ever for spursfan.
And nothing would be sweeter than to beat the raptors that game, especially like we beat the Sixers.
The out of touch/casual Spurs fans will probably cheer for that disgrace. The Die hard/knowledgeable Spurs fans will boo boo him and chant something like Uncle Dennis or Kawhitter whenever he's at the free throw line.

I think he’ll get cheers. There’s still fans that like his game, and he did win a championship in San Antonio... Plus, he will probably greet Pop bc his issues weren’t with him. Spurstalk will be disappointed.
I think the NBA is now a player-fan league. The players themselves, as well as the league’s promotional machine, are helping to cultivate that culture. Average fans won’t care or know what he did to damage the franchise. He’ll get cheers.
