The first 20 minutes of that game showed they have no will to play. They were completely overrun and should have been down multiple goals.
Kane needs Eriksen though. When Eriksen is benched Tottenham look atrocious. Eriksen is the engine that runs that team, as good as Kane is.

You have no idea why the team is being cautious with Eriksen, do you?
They looked very good without Eriksen against LC but Son, Lamella and Deli Ali all had outstanding games around Kane.
Eriksen is their best player, but it’s a mutual thing.
He does not get all those assists without a guy he can play the ball too in so many ways. Kane is an absolutely solid guy to get the ball to. He does a great job at moving without the ball and receiving the ball. And now he is a much better passer. But he is slower. Guess who Eriksen got his assist from to win the last game? Kane. Although I give credit to every pass in that sequence, especially Deli Ali chesting the ball perfectly to Kane in traffic.

Sissoko playing a romping midfielder who is fast and strong has made a huge difference in who Pooch can put out on the field. The lineup has become less of a chore. There are a bunch more decent players that can make a difference now. Credit Pooch with moving Sissoko back further and playing to his strengths (not forward)

This is a worthless trophy and I would rather Spurs be out. Just playing varying styles of CL teams far away from home has made us better. We get stuck in that PL mode of wrassling some of the lower PL teams that just try and beat you up... well it’s gotten easier. We can actually win these games now.
No draws this season, turned to a bunch of late wins now even when we are sluggish.
