In some ways its a miracle the Spurs have won 5 NBA les, but that was mostly a by-product of a core of selfless players (50, 32, 21, 20, 9, 12-BB) and coaches who only cared about winning.
When the top players in the league become an ignorant collection of mercenaries that is not a solid foundation for a product. It's going to get ugly with the NBA when the next Union Contract comes up. The players are destroying franchises not on the West Coast or East Coast.
