Dubs is imploding and I doubt they will be back next year. With the growth of our young players this year, and a healthy squad coming back next year, who knows? It’s up for grab. I don’t really see anybody in the West unless KD/AD joins LeBron. But if we get a decent 3nD with Pau’s expiring contract, who knows? Pops could maybe stay to beat another Dream Team.
Uhh no offense but " Pop may be done after next season" rumor has been going around for a while now...not exactly breaking news
After next season? That’s the season after this one. That’s about when I expected him to retire anyways. But thanks for the info.
Sure we've all speculated that he might be done soon, but this is the first time where I have heard it from somewhere other than Spurstalk.
Told you not to tell anybody yet... smdh
"first time heard it from somewhere other than Spurstalk"
LMAO as if Spurstalk has any reputable sources
The you talking about Willis? Auntfocker is spot on .0026 percent of the time. Don't ya know he called Bobo to Spurs?
In all fairness tho, Mo seems legit. He nailed the Nephew debacle.
I wouldn't be surprised if he decided to retire after this season.
you realize what he has accomplished again with this ty defensive team?
Maybe but not likely.
Except, Mo has legitimate inside sources. It does seem that he's reaching that point where the "passion" isn't there, but he's done so much for the NBA, San Antonio and the fanbase that he deserves to retire whenever he wants.
good riddance. this clown
Hard to know about the passion, he's done a good job with adjusting to the current roster.
I heard during LAST season from a seasons ticket holder who does business with one of the ownership consortium and they are less than happy with Pop’s politics. He’s gone after 2019-2020.
I somehow doubt Pop's political beliefs will influence whether or not he is with this team in the future.
You’re en led to your opinion. It wasn’t so much the beliefs, but his using his position as a podium for them. The kicker seemed to be when he said we were a racist country. Since most, if not all of the ownership is rich old white guys who are just fine with both where the country is, and where it’s heading, he just basically called all of them racists.
Actually it's the exact opposite. The ball is in Pop's court. *pun intended
Well you’re a dummy since ST has had plenty of scoops/calls.
Merry Christmas you filthy animal.
And good for him, tbh. We are a privileged country, at minimum. At least some of us are. Sometimes truths are hard to swallow, especially for those who have basked in that privilege.
