All American game suspense
Exactly, what's the point of keeping it a secret after signing the LOI?
All American game suspense
Aha the old cap game.
Kids want to announce on television.
I wouldn't make it more complicated than that.
A&M TE Jace Sternberger has declared for the NFL Draft.
De'Gabriel Floyd (at 6'1.5 and 231lbs) has been working as a kick-returner at todays practice for The All-American Bowl. He's got unique physical tools.
I think there's a legit chance Floyd moves back into that 5-star range. Same goes for Jake Smith - he was a common name dropped by the All-American Bowl and UA Game players when asked who, in their opinion, is the best player in the country.
Tyler Owens getting good reviews early on as well.
A&M picks up CB Ainias Smith of Fort Bend Dulles.
CB Marcus Banks looks to be headed to Alabama.

A few notes from the Under Armour Future 50, courtesy of 24/7.
- 2020 S Chris Thompson (Duncanville) says he's open. He's visited Texas and A&M more than anyone else, and they sense he'd be tough to pull away from them. Thompson said he wants to visit LSU, TCU, Oklahoma and Stanford. Nothing is set up yet.
- 2020 QB/ATH Ja'Quindon Jackson (Duncanville) said he's mostly hearing from Texas and Oklahoma State. Also said he wants to hear from Oregon since it's a school he grew up watching.
- 2020 OG Justin Rogers (Oak Park, MI.). Texas isn't mentioned by 24/7, but he mentioned a few SEC schools as well as the expected Midtwestern schools (tOSU, Michigan etc.). He visited Texas for the USC game back in September and is thought to have legit interest in Texas.
- 2020 ATH Mookie Cooper (Trinity Catholic, MO.) talked about visiting Nebraska and Illinois (where his former head coach is now an assistant). Also mentioned Texas, Michigan and Florida.
- 2021 QB/ATH Shedeur Sanders (Trinity Christian, Cedar Hill) said he's not focused on recruiting yet and probably won't be for a while. Baylor is the only in-state schools he's visited so far.
- 2020 CB RJ Mickens (Southlake Carroll) wants to put out a top 10 this Spring and wants to commit sometime during next season. He said his best relationships are with Ohio State, Oregon, Clemson and Alabama. He wants to visit Clemson and Alabama.
And probably the biggest piece of info from today.
- 2020 QB commit Hudson Card (Lake Travis) said he's ready and excited to enroll early in January 2020. Also said he spends a lot of time watching Texas and seeing how he fits into the offense. Thinks he can thrive in it.
