It's a hard call on the OP because LeBron's game is modeled on some of the players he grew up watching. He would not have dominated anything, there were too many iconic stars at that time.

There was only 1 iconic star in the 90s, tbh..nobody gave a about Olajuwon at the time, or anybody else..

The early 90s had plenty of stars, but the mid to late 90s was atrocious..

Nice red herring, Olajuwon was but one iconic star of the 90's and despite his hardware, he was among the least marketable stars of the 90's compared to Barkley, Ewing, Robinson, Shaq, etc... Heck, even Tim "The Landlord" Hardaway was more marketable.

I would rather watch Grant Hill and Penny Hardaway all day every day over the current stars in the league parading to the foul line having free throw contests. Their injuries robbed the league of some great talent before they hit their prime.
