1. Can't blame LMA solely for that series since Kawhi had games in which he also disappeared in that series in 2016. It was pretty bad that Roberson was talking about shutting him down throughout the series.
2. Spurs had more than enough talent to win a le with Kawhi. They would have won in '17 had Zaza not done what he did.
3. He left simply because of his uncle which will be the reason why he leaves the Craptors this upcoming summer.

Still can't believe people in this forum defend this guy. This guy wanted out way before the players only meeting. He was cleared to play and should've played. He didn't want to. He was creating problems in the locker room. The Spurs then were about to trade him to Boston, but backed out in hopes to see if he would want to play again for the Spurs. He checked out. Why would the Celtics want to trade for Kawhi if he was injured?
He wasn't. Spurs knew this and were very close to sending him to Boston, which is why I jumped the gun announcing he was going to be traded. Spurs backed off and put up with his childish ways because they knew what they had in Kawhi. They even had hopes during the entire off season that they could convince him to stay. He didn't want any of it and so the Spurs granted his request and traded him.
Simple as that. Why is that hard to accept for some of you?

I would literally take no passing Kawhi over DeRozen any day of the week and I wouldn't look back. Kawhi's job is to score the basketball, not pass it up.
