Exactly. Spurs fans are usually lazy crowd. But they kept up the boos from start to finish, and even had a traitor chant. Impressive.

I too was impressed with their performance. Unexpectedly great. Playoff atmosphere. And they gave the devil his due.

People dislike SA. You can thank Kawhi and His Camp for running the franchise through the mud. Also, jealousy is a powerful emotion.
One dude in this whole mess literally quit on his team, and everyone in the media is going out of their way to defend him. Cweb basically went as far as to say Tim Duncan was no different as a leader than Kawhi.

I actually thought they were kind of weak when you compare it to like CLE/Heatles LBJ and OKC/Durant. Traitor? Really? Should've chanted quitter. That Uncle Dennis chant at the end was pretty clutch though. All the uppity fatsos had left by then so the chant was done by the diehards that really knew what was up.
It's been well do ented that Timmy was vocal with his teammates. Robert Horry in the western conference 2005 finals even said Timmy jokes around
a lot and is very vocal.

The Danny chants, the MVP chants for DeMar, the traitor chants, the Lonnie chants. Just an all around masterpiece.
C Webb was on Kawhi’s nuts the entire game. Maybe he had to play devils advocate as the narrative was already so against Kawhitter.
