I never thought Louis CK should have lost his career and I was a huge fan of his material before the scandal. But if he's going to jump on the alt-right "LOL what's up with all these genders, amirite?" bandwagon to salvage his career like some kind of comedic Kanye West, I'm no longer interested.

I don’t think he’s doing that, his most recent stuff about how someone isn’t an expert on gun policy who we should listen to just because he went to a school where a shooting happened seemed politics neutral.

The 100 different genders stuff also strikes me as fair game for comedians. There’s a difference between completely denying that some people are born transgender vs. making fun of college students who have no gender iden y issues yet insist on being referred to as some weird gender classification.

When you see a funny comic like Chappelle, as long as they have creative freedom on the show and it's not censored by the sponsor Nazis on some dumbed down version of their routine, it's fine.

I think you guys are misunderstanding me. Louis CK has every right to touch on these subjects however he wants. People are free to find them funny. I find them tired and old. South Park did tranny comedy better with the Randy/dolphin episode. That was over ten years ago, though.

I typically don't find comedy funny when it piles on people who already face prejudice and mean-spiritedness on a daily basis. I like comedy that punches up.

But I do not think he should be censored or boycotted or prevented from having a career in comedy.
