His brother seems to be on our side. That’s my only reason for hope.

Recruiting randomness around college football
- LSU is likely flipping Christian Williams from Bama. It seems that Bama read the tea leaves awhile back, and that's why they drank Jimbo's milkshake with Banks
- Bama has two spots left for the following: Henry To'oto'o, Ishmael Sopsher, Nathan Pickering, Quashon Fuller, Jaquaze Sorrels, late bloomers. One of their QB commits, Paul Tyson, is Bear Bryant's grandson, and insiders think his family will pay his way for the first two years to help them with the 25 man counter. They also have a kicker committed who they think has been told he might grayshirt if they need an extra player. Getting class numbers for Bama is tricky because they keep a lid on who all is actually on scholarship; perhaps so kids who aren't don't feel embarrassed, or they think keeping rivals in the dark on their numbers gives them an advantage?
- LSU might get Brothers Sopsher; the non-prospect Sopsher couldn't even make his JUCO team, and will be the biggest waste of a scholarship since I've been following this stuff. LSU has another commit, Maurice Hampton, who could likely end up going the baseball route, and we all already know about Marcel Brooks. They have another commit, Ray Parker, who hasn't signed and is a grade risk, it's unclear if they'll let him sign. Ed O likes to keep things interesting.
- Pierogi thinks McGlothern could commit to Bama soon, but is a recruit to NSD type regardless. Says Broughton isn't as high on A&M as he is on others, mentions Bama as one of them (Bama already has a bunch of DL committed). Mentions Chris Thompson Jr as a key battle. Overall, his article is a joke; with just about every prospect, he basically says "A&M is in a great spot, but if he visits Bama and they want him, watch out".
- Regarding Broughton and Bama, Bama could be signing six DL in 2019, and they already have two committed in 2020. That could help us just like Bama filling up on DL in 2019 helped A&M with Leal
- Ohio State and Bama both think they're in it for Demas
- Justin Rogers seems to be leaning Georgia after previously leaning Ohio State
- As has been pointed out in this thread, 2020 is loaded nationally and locally at RB, and it'll be interesting to see how the musical chairs fall. Evans figures to land at one of Texas, A&M, Bama, Georgia, LSU, or OU. Bama already has one RB committed, OU has two (one is an APB type though), and LSU has a top 150 kid in-state who they'll probably take. Also, Evans and Milton share many of the same top teams, and it's doubtful the two would go to the same school, so it'll be interesting to see if Milton ends up somewhere like LSU or Bama and takes them out of the Evans sweepstakes. Presumably, Milton to OU could also hurt them with McClellan, who would then could potentially be on the table. There's a rumor that McClellan could go to IMG next year.
There's a couple reports out there on other sites that Beaty will be joining the Texas staff and that Orlando is being considered hard for the Temple job now that Manny ended up back at Miami. I honestly don't see Orlando going to Temple, you'd think that better opportunities will come along in the near future.
Inside Texas believes Beaty will have a Co-OC le, but that obviously doesn't mean he will call plays.
They didn't mention what position group Beaty would be in charge of
If i was guessing and that's all I do here, Beaty will be coaching WR. One thing is for sure, we need Beaty in Dallas recruiting.
Warehime’s spot plz
Floss, I assume the Co-OC is to get him a pay bump. If Beaty can fix our Metroplex recruiting issues, he'd be worth every penny of $1 million.
I assume he would coach WRs. Beaty has been a WR Coach, OC, and HC at the college level. Beaty could be the quality volume recruiter we've all been hoping for. The guy was a witch at Aggy.
Agreed he and Giles are the biggest liabilities in the recruiting department. Giles at least carries his weight on the coaching side, the year Omenihu had was amazing. I think Warehime is the most expendable, I’d love that move.
I would be shocked if he left for Temple especially given how much he's getting paid at Texas. He's making a lot for an assistant. He can afford to wait for a major job.
Well ! The Tide go down. The world must be coming to an end!
Nick Satan with the kicker as the lead blocker up the middle on a fake FG.
Take your wuppin.
Yeah, they'd need to give him a le that would justify the pay.
