It was Siakam most game and OG in a few possessions. Giannis/Kawhi barely shared the same side in plays the whole game.

Kawhi didn't always guard the other team's #1 option, not even when he was on the Spurs. Maybe in the playoffs or a few key possessions.

Giannis plays PF all game. Raptors have Siakam at that position. Why would a coach put a wing to defend a bigman when you have a very useful PF on your own team???

D'Antoni put smaller guys on Giannis but doubled him the whole game. When a coach have a young, mobile, good defender like Siakam he trusts on him.

You just look at stats and say "Giannis scored 40 pts". What you don't see...Siakam made him life harder on the other end too since he had a career high of 30 pts in that game.

Giannis-Siakam was a good matchup on both ends. Nurse isn't exactly a great coach nor a brilliant defensive mind but he wasn't wrong about this strategy.

My team is still the Spurs. It always has been the Spurs. And Kawhi is still my favorite player. There is nothing wrong with being a fan of a player.

If Tim would have signed with Orlando people suddenly would stop to love him? I would be a Tim Duncan's fan even if he would have won 3 rings with the Magic and just 1 with the Spurs.

Because he was the best PF that people have seen on a court. And I enjoy watching great players to play.

That's a supporting cast that won 60 games last season minus Kawhi and minus Green (the most impactful role player this season. So the supporting cast got even better... Oh, and Siakam went from raw rookie to borderline all-star too).

Heck, this Raptors team minus Kawhi is still probably a 50 wins team. Same as the Spurs last season. but he deserves better

they also had derozan...its not like those players alone won...
