I sat next to one of his other brothers and an uncle at the state game. I obviously didn’t ask who his legal guardian was but I got the feeling he was at least close with his mom. He didn’t make it sound like Zach is from a broken home or anything but idk why he would. He said their mom has input as well as CJ (the pro-UT brother). He said it was ultimately going to boil down to o-line play and it would be a business decision regarding getting to the NFL. I asked him flat out where he thought he would end up and he said “I’d say A&M but it changes.” Said that Texas is probably his favorite team but he’s going to go to school where it makes the most sense from an NFL perspective and the mom likes A&M in that regard bc of sec bias. The whole “SEC is the only conf that plays smash mouth football” myth will probably hurt here but this was all before the Georgia game and this recruitment def has the feel of a long rollercoaster. This brother was his oldest. If I remember correctly there are 4 boys and Zach is the youngest.
Interesting since their QB is freshman Jason S ey from Frisco and he seemed to have played fairly well this season. They challenged for PAC 12 le so no easy play at starting QB.
OU may be starting a true freshman in Rattler.

Both out of Richmond Foster.

Don't buy it, I'd love for it to be true, but my guess is that they are just telling the service what they want to hear.
Oh look who's dropping in on the cougars
Damn blake, that's cold right there!
Sorry, it just slipped out

I know this is mainly football but some news for you Baseball guys
We're pretty much all things Longhorn here with a stronger focus on football and recruiting. Thanks for posting and being the bearer of bad news. This lost is definitely going to sting.
