I really wish Eubanks was either a bit taller or had more PF game to him. He's a really intriguing post-player and roll-man, but the dude doesn't seem able to do much of anything away from the basket. I wouldn't hate it if he were the third-string center next year, but I'd rather him provide more versatility if I'm going with him over Milutinov or a draft pick. I do expect to see him put in good work during the next summer league though.

Just saw the highlights, he does look good. He looks quick enough and smart enough to play pf. He looks more ready than Metu tbh.

His left foot slid some as he got to Holland. It certainly looked awkward.
I've had moments like that after an injury. Actually if you have a moment like that it scares the out of you. But.... if nothing happens it actually gives you confidence and lets you know your leg is strong. So if he didn't get hurt, good.

Metu has a nice face up/drive game. Ahearn moved Johnson to the bench and let Lonnie run a little point to get him involved early. His isos just aren't effective; looks like he's going to work best off screens and in transition. Huestis had some good defensive plays of last resort on Warrior drives/transition. Washburn had fundamentally strong one-on-one defense. Turnovers still the main reason for the loss.

    Huestis having a "breakout" game
3-7 from 3 is far from being ready. At least he is getting back to form. Spurs expect though at least 50% from 3.

John Holland is the only guy with appreciable court vision on the team. Should try to find a way to start him. Lineup changes look like they got into Johnson's head. Walker still works best off picks and he doesn't get good ones from the rest of the SL. Metu is a TO machine.

Walker heated up early in the fourth but was inexplicably pulled for a couple minutes. Are they still monitoring his minutes?

I think Walker is going to need another year in G League unless he makes a huge jump this summer I see him as two years in G League minimum

Maybe, but I kind of doubt it. He has really good shooting streaks. I kind of understand going away from him late in this game since Metu was constantly getting mismatches down low and went to the line 11 times. I think the players and coaches on the mothership could probably get him the space he needs to shoot better than those in the G-League.

Injury messed up his timing. He'd be closer to where Metu is right now if he hadn't had to sit out a couple of months and then use what activity he could do rehabbing. Dude was really raw coming out of school. It was never going to be quick with him, but there's still a lot of time until the summer. So long as Walker stays healthy, I expect him to look good, though I hope the team has a solid guard out there with him.

I don’t do FaceBook so I haven’t been able to watch any games. I’m going by boxscores and people’s comments which admittedly isn’t the best read. Comments about his lack of D, lack of assists rebounds, steals, low 3 point percentage give me pause. I can’t see him get much PT from Pop if he doesn’t clean that up.

Weekday games are on ESPN+ if you have that and just a fake account would do for FB.

I don't think they're putting a premium on developing him as much as rehabbing him at this point so I'm not overly concerned. Then again I never had him penciled in for regular minutes this year unless there were multiple injuries.

Metu seems to be the highest upside of the three here.

Walker has athleticim but isn't that big and needs to improve his basketball IQ.

Huestis has length but has questionable basketball skills. He's a better defender than Cunningham, but likely cannot shoot as well.

People need to relax and trust the process with Lonnie lol the kid is coming off a torn meniscus and is only 20 years old. I have no doubt he’ll be a contributor soon. Metu looks promising as well but he was a 4 year college player unlike Lonnie

How is 6'5" not big for a shooting guard?
