The NCAA is probably going to make some changes to the new transfer rules eventually, it's brand new and has some glitches. I think it would be best at an minimum to keep players with their original school for at least 2 full years before they can enter the portal, unless the head coach leaves or is fired. Also, I would make it a one time deal only, unless you want to grad transfer after you graduate.
As expected.
I wonder what is in this bag he is talking about.![]()
Coach Beck and Coach Meekins were at Galena Park North Shore today, per Inside Texas.
Inside Texas reporting the recruitment of S Jalen Catalon is down to Arkansas and Texas after they heard the recent official to TCU didn't go as well as expected.
Even though Texas' chances have increased significantly, Arkansas is still the smart pick at this time.
Coach Naivar will go in-home with him on Thursday evening before he makes a final decision on Friday.
24/7 had a similar report, but mentioned that Catalon's parents are split with one favoring Arkansas (or TCU) and the other Texas.
That is more progress than anyone thought possible, so the next 24 to 36 hours are big.

There's no way anyone can't love this guy. Tech needs to lock him up through 2050.
I hope that pisses off Rattler.
Per 24/7, Coach Hand will travel to see grad transfer OL Drew Richmond (Tennessee) this week.
Wasnt Scrotum shown to be one of the bag men for Jackie Sherrill?
