I've been firmly for it. I don't have any record showing otherwise.
Yeah, but you never said anything about any legislation for it for two whole years when Republicans controlled both houses.
Why not?

He thought Mexico was going to pay.![]()
You were free to break away from you 1200 page cry thread about your Russian nothing burger and inquire.
Your talking about wall legislation does not require me in any way.
You never said anything about any legislation for it for two whole years when Republicans controlled both houses.

Trump had a large legislative agenda, which included posting strong economic results to mitigate the war on the wall from Democrats and their corporate benefactors.
You never said anything about any legislation for it for two whole years when Republicans controlled both houses.
Why not?
Because right now it looks like you only started caring about the actual legislation when you were told to do so.
I've cared about this issue since the 80's when District 9 told us we did not have any choice but to give free services to illegals. Nice fail, sociopath.
Yet you never said anything about any legislation for it for two whole years when Republicans controlled both houses and the presidency.
Why not?
You may recall that not all Repubs were on board with Trump right off. Your argument is frankly disingenuous (and a shallow talking point).
I'm not talking about all Repubs.
I'm asking you a question about you.
You never said anything about any legislation for it for two whole years when Republicans controlled both houses and the presidency.

I'm sorry you think that there was a pre-qualifier in place. There wasn't.
I'm not talking about pre-qualifiers in place about anything.
I'm asking you a question.

It's not an unreasonable offer, tbh, what's unreasonable is to hold the government hostage over it.
He knows declaring an emergency is the only way he's gonna get that wall/fence, he's just tilting the table so when he rescinds the offer and goes campaigning, he can tell Dreamers the dems screwed them over, and he still got his wall.
The biggest problem with that political play is that: 1) Republicans in general couldn't give two about dreamers, 2) that's not about to change anytime soon, especially with his base and 3) if he loses re-election, dreamers very likely get a better deal anyways.
He got desperate once he lost the mid-terms and control of Congress, and he overplayed his hand. This is probably the best Mitch could come up with to try to help him save face, but it's not going anywhere, IMO.
Cocaine Mitch did nothing but go along. This is Rush/Hannity/Coulter scaring Trump into this by saying he'd lose his base if he caved on the wall.
Coulter is already ing on Twitter about amnesty and called him Jeb... I don't think this deal came from the hardliners on his base, this is probably Mitch trying to frame this into a political play.
Right, I was talking about this shutdown in the first place. Maybe Mitch is involved but I can see Trump in the situation room with Miller, Kushner and Ivanka trying to bring back det ol' art of the deal and Mick in the corner just shaking his head.
I've already answered that I allowed Trump to go through his paces.
Minus the cynicism, Chump is right. Mitch doesn't want the fallout. And while I don't think Mitch is that adept; I think he is benefiting from the Dems being exposed on this.
So you waited for him to tell you to care.
lol

The only fallout Mitch cares about is people getting fed up because they can't travel, get their tax refunds, etc. This is where this is heading if the shutdown extends for too long, and he knows it. He can only quarterback his senators for so long, until pressure mounts, and it's going to be on him.
He has bills from the House to fund the government he can put to a vote right now, this is why the Dems have nothing to lose. POTUS really overplayed his hand thinking the shutdown gave him leverage, and he completely misread the situation.
What's worse, there's going to be 2 more years of chicanery like this.
Traitor to the USA citizens for selling out the USA TO Russia.
and
STFU with your cheapie nazi troll lameness.
It clearly bothers you that I think a president isn't supposed to accomplish an eight-year agenda in one or two years.
lol
