NO is very bitter about this, and rightfully so. He likely sits on his ass the rest of the year like KL did with the Spurs. In the off season they ship him out of conference to the Hawks or some BS team LOL..

I would love someone to explain to me why the Pelicans should be falling all over themselves to trade their first ball hall of famer in his prime who is under contract for at least 1.5 more years for a couple of lottery busts and more assorted trash from the Lakers grab bag of crap.
Because reasons.. You know Lebron and ESPN want it badly..

I agree he is not going there or anywhere now. This will drag out into the off season. And he still won't go to the Lakers..

That would be ironic ... if Mozgof came back ...
Definitely will take a third team.

    So ST can chill ...

Deeps and Baseline ...were really concerned but acting like they care about what is best for NOLA

I don't give a about NOLA. I even said it would be cool to see Davis and James together in LA. But logically why does NOLA send Davis to LA? Your young players are not good. You seem to think it's spite against the Lakers that keeps teams from trading their disgruntled stars there when it's really lack of talent they could acquire in return.

I didnt say it was spite ...though I think that is part of it.
Pretty sure if we offered Lebron a trade would be made ...

But I am saying the same overhyping of Lakers prospects that happens on LG the inverse is happening on ST.

    russell is a perfect example.
I preached patience on D'angelo here and on LG ...
russell is finally is showing more what I saw in college and in flashes while with Lakers.

Everyone wants instant flash like Spida mitc .
I never said Ingram was gonna be a a superstar.
I thought he had potential to be a #2 on a contender .
Maybe he can be ...someday. But now i think more #3 on a contender, #2 on a playoff team ...

    We will see.
Also said dont see future all-star for Kuzma (i said more borderline all star)
and I still dont know what I see for Lonzo i see flashes of Kidd and prolonged streches of Rubio ...

Maybe its not enough for Davis ...but personally I Wouldnt give up every single asset. I Would give up a ton for davis despite his injury concerns but Davis and bron and nothing else doesnt change much for us. Lakers were a top 4 team before injuries ... George issue shouldn't put Lakers in full panic and neitehr should Kawhi.

and No I m not worried about wasting a year of bron because no way we was wining a le this year ...so why shoudl that influence our decision?

    That doesnt make any sense.
IS there ANYONE here even Lakerfans that believe Lebron Davis Rondo Josh hart Mcgee and Tyson are gonna beat Golden state?

    RIP Lakers "offer"

Tatum's value alone trumps Ingraham, Ball and Kuzma.
id like to see this happen.

everyting you want probably means, jaylen brown, marcus smart and some lame ass late picks next year.

s really that high on Tatum huh? I guarantee if he played for us and averaged 18 points he would be trash and a bust. But since he’s not with us he’s some superstar. is at best a joe Johnson. But he’s worth AD just by himself I guess.

Why would Orlando give up mosgov to take on hill?

Lakers are basically saying the other teams should do this or that because it’s in the lakers best interest. Which I’m having trouble understanding why it is a legitimate argument.

If anything, teams should play hard ball to discourage these types of antics in the future.

^^It seems like teams aren't giving into the Lakers anymore like they used to..

From what we heard today, it looks like LeBron's power play might not actually work right now, to my surprise..

I mean what are you going to get back from LA? They have no good draft picks to move. They have no young talent that projects out to anything better than say average starter in the best case. They don't have any decent vets. They're LeBron and a bag of crap.

bron usurping the balance from these owners is just the start of the power shift. declining a legit supermax is epic.

people are overlooking the message here. you can’t hold the major players of the game any longer. you can revise the cba all you want and add another year or dollars to your supermax deal. its not enough.

white owners are probably pissed off a high school graduate and a dude who started his career from selling replica jerseys are breaking barriers in their corporate world

AD to LA is gonna happen.

I don’t even get why the laker fans want Davis. They would lose some if not all of their scary good young core, Brandon Ingram was on a kawhi Leonard trajectory after last year.

maybe it’s for the best the pelicans are telling the lakers go themselves

still at players declining guaransheed supermax money and losing tens of millions of dollars bc they think they might 'like' another city better, or might make up the difference in endorsement dollars somehow

I want to see Denver make a move. They do have some assets. Jamal Murray, Michael Porter JR, Millsap and a pick could probably do it.

Right. When Lebron is long gone, this one deserves an ESPN 30 for 30. The amount of coaches, players, broadcaster, etc. that have a degree or two of seperation from Klutch is truly crazy.

It's a historical power play by LBJ and his buddies from High School, who cir vented obvious conflicts of interest rules to change the NBA forever.

It took LeBron and Rich Paul, 50 games to essentially run the Lakers.

Denver could come up with an interesting package with Porter, Malik Beasley, Trey Lyles as the key pieces, Milsap’s expiring to match money, to even take on Solomon Hill’s contract. Too bad they don’t have a 2019 first rounder to add. But they’d still have Murray, Harris, Joker, Barton to play with Davis. If you’re Denver, take two cracks at it with that core plus Davis, and if he leaves, then he leaves. Could be worth the shot.
