Last year they had 8 contestants. This year they have only announced 5...which doesn't make sense. You can't do a bracket with 5 players...
Still hoping there is a late vote for Davis.
Davis will make his name known for 3s in the playoffs this year.
But this is typical for San Antonio. Other teams/players get put in, while SA players always have go above and Beyond just to “earn” a spot in something. They never had Tim Tony and Manu in the same Allstar game despite having a top league record while other teams have had 3, sometimes 4, guys put in consistently.

Now that Dirk got a free All-Star appearance, no need to celebrate him in the 3 point contest too. He should vacate.
Didn't Dirk say a few years ago (All Star Game NY iirc) that he'd rather see younger guys play instead of him? I don't think he's too keen on participating as well, but will take part in that PR-stunt...although I'd like to see him refuse.
