I didn't vote for him, but I do agree with the concept of losing the battle to win the war. Trump in office is a loss in a lot of ways, but he's already put two young conservatives on the supreme court and could have one or two more before the end of the term (since they have the WH and the Senate). In 10 years people will have moved on from trump, but the SC appointees will have an impact for the next 30 years

Hate to sound like this but it is true, the bat thing is the only time SportsCenter and NBA Live wants to talk about the Spurs. I have seen two Spur game highlight segments that mentioned not one single word about the game (the Spurs won, not high scorer not even the score) just talked about the bats with the final score flashing up after it was over. Heck on tonight's game against the Kings on NBA TV double header they have a picture of Giannis and DeA Fox on the marquee. Now Giannis I understand but Fox???? I know the Kings aren't dysfunctional this year and are right now are right outside of the playoffs but we are the 5th seed with a M'Fn All-Star on the roster!

I think conservatives that back Trump has compromised their values which probably means that they probably didn't have any, to begin with. I do have a measure of respect for the ones that call him out for his B.S.

What comes to mind specifically is the Supreme Court being used by the left for years to get ruling on things that would normally require Congress passing a law. At least now if there has to be legislation from the bench it will lean to the right (which I have more ideological agreements with).
It's my hope, however, that all legislating from the bench stops and we go back to sovereign states rights. Since that won't happen, at least I'll know that those on the courts are more likely to represent my beliefs.
