the rookie scale contracts are bull , since most of them need to be overpaid in a year, which is why you guys keep trading them or losing them.^ gets it. Draft picks, young assets on rookie scale contracts and cap relief (aka 1-year expiring deals) are EXTREMELY valuable to rebuilding small market teams.

I remember liking Jabari when he was at Duke. Injuries have derailed his career so far. I'd love to see him off the bench killing 2nd units...but again, without Unibrow, nope - not happening.

Real talk, how can Laker fans still defend GM Magic? His drafting hasn't been any better than Fredo's. Dumping Russell is looking dumber than ever. He's embarrassed the franchise with multiple tampering scandals. His free agent signings outside of LeRetirementTour are a bunch of headcases and scrubs. And now he's ruined the whole team's morale with another public trade circus.
The only thing separating Magic from GM Doc-level inep ude is LeBron conceding to the Warriors and focusing on his Hollywood career. And they're still struggling to even make the playoffs with him!
