    Not only it wouldn't bring a ring but after a year and a half of AD,LMA would be a grandpa,Pop would be already retired after the Olympics,Davis would leave for greener pastures and we would start the 2020-21 season in a total rebuild mode BUT we would owe the Pelicans a draft pick or two!!!! That's a 100% way to self destruction.

    The way things are looking right now Spurs are headed in that direction even without trading for Davis.

    Spurs would only do it if Davis agreed to commit long term but yeah if that was on the table I wouldn't blame the Spurs for doing it, so it's likely not going to happen.

    Lowry might not be the best PG for us, but we definitely need one. Derrick White's injury could up our entire season. Even if it's just a solid veteran reserve PG...granted we need a SF as well...
