Oh you don’t have to explain anything. It’s plain to see he’s all athlete but has a low bb iq. Simple basic instincts like driving in an open lane or passing the ball when your locked up do not come to him. Those aren’t system issues.
Where was that expectation stated here? He missed terribly on 4-5 shots. It’s not just scoring. He doesn’t look a year away. He looks like he should be at Miami Another 2 years.

It is way too early for this. You have to be reasonable. He needs to get serious reps, and we also need a legitimate sample size before you can call him a bust. He ain't gonna do with 2 minutes per game or whatever he plays at the moment.
