Game Thread: Spurs @ Memphis — Tue. (Feb 12) - 7:00/CT

I wanted to post that this was about as obvious as a Spurs win as you could imagine, but Memphis also has had two days off, won three of four games, and looks to have some scrappy and quick players, even after jettisoning the good Gasol last week.

That said I'd still peg this as a fairly certain win with what's at stake from the Spurs' side. They should be highly motivated after the days rest, and wanting to notch a win with the upcoming 10 day break. I really don't see them losing this game because it would be a new low for an already under-performing year.

And to note, your San Antonio Spurs have not lost five straight games since losing six straight on Mar 23-Apr 1, 2011, so a loss tonight would really be a rare feat.

This is almost a must-win..not really, but after 3 consecutive easy losses, they kind of need this for morale and confidence going forward..this and the Knicks are the only games they'll be expected to win on this trip..
