Holy sh*t is Timmy announcing the Rising Stars game?
They really need to change the skills contest format. The three trivializes everything else in the contest.
Steph Cucky
Losing the three-point contest to a white American player
Thought Curry had it the way he started that final round
what is the score of curry’s Opponent?
26 both rounds.
ok thanks..I only saw the first round and curry’s Final round..
Other than Dirk doing ok the only good thing so far has been the doll host tbh
lol @ Shaq "They call me the Black Steph Curry"
Love me some Allie Laforce
the Force is with her
That dunk by Diallo just now has been the only remotely impressive one so far.
Yeah, thought it was gonna be a regular jumping-over-someone dunk so it caught me off guard tbh
DSJ is almost Birdman-level bad at this point. Yawn!
The judges have terrible standards nowadays.
Back in the day you had to do something AMAZING and not have any missed dunks (only usually a max of 2-3 abortions allowed as well - there used to be a shot clock in the early 00s and before) to get a 50.
I'm not even watching ASW this year (this night was one of my favorite TV watches all year growing up as a kid, but now it sucks) and I can already guess that it's a bunch of noname scrubs getting handed 50's like they're candy. Pathetic.
It's been said a ton of times, but that really was by far the worst dunk contest ever.
every year since 04 has been a little worse than the previous, tbh. Even the one with Aaron Gordon and that other guy a few years back was dumb because of all the dumb props tbh.
Boring slam dunk but its funny seeing 50 year olds complain when theyd cream their pants watching some 90s scrub do a lame windmill dunk for a score of 50
Face it. The dunk contest is lame because most dunks that can be humanly achieved has been done.
Still think Dwight’s dunks were horribly under rated. His dunks were rarely rated as some of the best but those were some insanely creative dunks he had.
Can’t think of a single good dunk contes in 10s though.today’s nba.
Not completely untrue
The Superman dunk where he literally jammed it from about 6 feet away had about a 25-30% probability of success. If it bozzanked off the rim it would have permanent embarrassment for him.
Instead, he got outed as a 7 foot "bottom" 11 years later![]()
I actually thought his double tap dunk and sticker dunks were highly creative. The superman dunk wasn’t really a dunk.
As for the 6’11” bottom Audio tape. Sounds extremely made up. Regardless, even a 6’11” bottom made the Lkers beg
Yeah, I remember the sticker. It was dumb. Using props in general is dumb. The dunks from NBA Live 2005 were actually pretty damn creative with a lot of outstanding permutations. Did the NBA recently ban throwing it off the shot clock or jumbotron? Laaaaame.
Last good dunk contest was the one between JRich and Iguodala.
