OrangeBloods reporting OL Chris Morris of Memphis, TN is planning on a trip to Austin to watch spring practice.

That would be his third time on campus.

I don't think there's room in the class, but leave no stone unturned.

Anxious to see what Herman and Hand have planned for the numbers since '21 looks even better than '20.

What are Bryan’s career aspirations? Does he eventually want to coach?
I don't know what his salary is, but it should be in line with other mid to top line assistants as what he brings to the table in his role is obviously extremely valuable and important.

I haven't read anything saying he's ever coached a down of football, or that he wants to.

His dream has always been to recruit for a big college program and build a team behind the scenes.

Before joining Herman's staff at Houston, he had jobs at Home Depot, a furniture store, he was a bartender and even a caregiver for a home healthcare company.

At this point he's probably well on his way to making just as much money, if not more, than the average Power 5 assistant coach (with more raises to come) and he doesn't have to live in that revolving door of coaching where he's at a different school every couple of years.

If Herman can further establish himself as THE guy for the Texas job, Carrington is set for a long time.
Sorry Floss, posted before I read your post. You summed it up perfectly and provided background. Why would he even want to coach. It seems to be a case of someone being perfectly suited for and happy with his job.

I woke up the morning in a cold sweat, only one thought was racing through my head.

Who is going to be running the Wildcat for us next year?

The staff is going to have a lot of ways to get creative between Ingram, Whittington, Smith and Bru (if he's eligible).

, what if they put Wiley back there since he played QB and is as big as Swoopes?

    Gonna be fun.

Gotta be Casey Thompson, right? Him or Roschon need to spell Ehlinger at times... one of them needs to be ready

If we're talking strictly wildcat, I'm not sure Thompson would be the first option.

He should definitely be the #2 QB behind Ehlinger, however.

I'm just spitballing here, and it's hard to know because the staff will be working with weapons not seen at UT in a long time.

Funny you mentioned Wiley, when we were still in danger of loosing Thompson I was telling a buddy they’d have to get Wiley practicing as 3rd string QB behind Roschon.

He lined up there at times, but I don't think Cuero had him pass.

He did a lot of things, on both sides of the ball and special teams.
