You're trying, crusty.
Don't mind if you do.
Please catch up!![]()
Another plaintive cry for attention. Here is your late XMAS gift.
Hamilton68 is still a useful, valid tool, for tracking Russian disinformation activity.
The amount of effort the right puts into discrediting makes me mindful of "the lady doth protest too much".
What's your take on New Knowledge, RandomGuy?
Chris with the sloppy seconds and no take on his own link, as usual.
They didn't even have to use the Russians!
USA! USA! USA!
(googles term, finds what he assumes is the company website, and little else)
Seems like a bunch of do-gooders with some expertise, who have identified a need for some action to be taken, and are doing something about it.
Redacted.
Meuller is so obviously holding his powder. The secret servers, back channel meetings, endless chains of lying about meeting Russians. What is funny is that you think there is nothing behind the redactions.
In relation to New Knowledge, I was referring to this:

Cat got your tongue, RandomGuy?
Sorry, logged off.

A simple social experiment isn't quite the equivalent of a concerted state actor with hostile intent acting in concert with a major political party.
Are you trying to say it is somehow?

Seriously?
Feel free to flesh that one out. This should be good.
Harsh immigration policy, official secrecy, persecution of whistleblowers and the press, Gitmo, drone wars, domestic surveillance, military intervention and coup plotting in the Americas, coddling the financial sector...
That's just off the top of my head.
Tax cuts would be another commonality. Obama didn't have to sign the extension of the GWB cuts -- Republicans might not have had a veto proof majority on that.
I don't think you read through carefully. Not only did the social experiment move the needle, it *might* have swung the election.
At any rate, relying on these guys to monitor dirty tricks while they're executing rat ery of their own, beggars credulity.
So Obama's policy was as harsh as Trumps? No, it wasn't. More "both sides" fallacy.
Official secrecy not even close.
Persecution of whistleblowers: granted. That was ty. You would have a hard time finding Obama going after "the press" with anywhere near the gusto that the Trump administration has.
domestic surveillance: granted.
military intervention and coup plotting int eh Americas Don't know enough to say. Easy to grant, as likely though.
coddling the financial sector: feel free to show an equivalent level of outright corruption, cronyism, and lobbyists outright running agencies, in light of a Republican controlled congress. Waaaay off base here.
A modest amount of "alike". But "both sides equal"??? No. Happy to admit when Dems up and could do better, but to put them in the same league as the current administration for sheer scope and scale of ery, would be ridiculous. I assume that is not what you were shooting for, you seem smarter than that.
he's pointing out similarities. he's not calling them carbon copies. his words were that they have more in common.
I believe continuity was the word I used, not equivalence.
Feeling touchy?
No, just confused. Seemed uncharacteristically "both sides" lazy, so I am glad that wasn't the case.
Obama was indeed a centrist, and, shamefully, was no where near as forceful in some areas of rights as he should havd been, and most definitely advanced the imperial presidency schtick like ever other asshole president in the last 40 years.
