Aside from the fact that we lost, big-picture wise, this was a great game for the Spurs. Pop has shown us what his playoff rotation looks like, and we've seen it can win in the home court of the team that will likely make the Finals in the East.

We're losing in the 1st round regardless so why delay the inevitable.
In that game against OKC, Marco couldn't force a foul with the clock in our favor and it led to a turnover and a bucket on the other end. A week later, the same ing thing happened. And now this. That's lack of execution and incompetence on the players but it's also bad coaching. The Suns can execute better in that situation.
None of this means anything anyway. Not like we're going anywhere.

Looks like another scripted game. Spurs do just enough for DDR to save face, but lose as mighty Toronto folds serve with their powerful lineup, while the Spurs hopeful see the silver lining in how close they came...........................Yawn...........A loss is a loss.
Can't place the blame on derozan. Outside of that turnover he actually played well...our All Star went missing, though.
Toronto is not making any finals any time soon. Kawhi looks like a s of himself. I still have the Celtics over everyone else because they have the most talent and refs to go with it. Even Bucks match very well with the Raptors and they have people to protect the rim and waay better defenders than we have.
Like I said before this loss is not going to change anything from a long term perspective. From a pride point of view this loss sucks since it's against #2.
Derrick White or Rudy Gay should be the only ones with the ball at the end of games. I can't stand watching derozen drive and and get stuffed and locked down.

I would agree if the Spurs hit a high % of threes and Toronto did not.
But the Spurs hit only 32.4% of threes (12-37; well below their average) while Toronto hit 46.7% (14-30; well above their average).
I don't think we can say the Spurs had "things go right for them all game and still lose."
