She's not running for anything though so your point doesn't make any sense. Is the amount of attention they are giving to Donald Trump over the top or is that kosher?
No, she isn't running for anything. That is what makes the attention all the more amusing. Her megaphone is amplified by the attention. Your derision is oxygen to her fire, just as MSM's about Trump's was. I would say that the amount of attention given to Trump is over the top as well. Both are for simple ratings/clicks.

The only difference is that she is vastly more intelligent and competent than Trump is. That is part of what the right wing can't stand.

“In the deal, what we talk about is, it’s true, is that we need to take a look at factory farming, period. It’s wild,” Ocasio-Cortez said.

“And so, it’s not to say you get rid of agriculture. It’s not to say we’re going to force everybody to go vegan or anything crazy like that,” Ocasio-Cortez added.

She continued, “But it’s to say, listen, we’ve got to address factory farming. Maybe we shouldn’t be eating a hamburger for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Like, let’s keep it real.”

Americas fat problem isn't because of beef. The factory farm argument is from wealthy spoiled pussys.

cows, pigs, chickens, turkeys: water, fuel, x-icides needed to grow the crops to feed them, feed complented with hormones, antibiotics, all that is excreted as polluting, gaseous and piss, that often ends up in aquifers and surface waterways

industrial meat is an environmental disaster, while industrial mammal meet has long history of being pathogenic.

When America excretes the Mississippi river into the Gulf of Mexico, it causes a huge dead zone.

more generally, the organization of food production expressly for export needs to be looked at.

the social and environmental impacts of consolidation among a few big players are significant, as are the implications for US food security and public health more generally, should the current petrochemical intensive scheme of production become unfeasible.

She's right. Conservative plan? I'd love to hear it. This shouldn't be a partisan issue.

Conservatives don't believe in the climate change hoax/scheme so there is no plan.

    Deal with it.
